Overview

This guide explains the address formats supported by the system. Addresses must include a valid postal code followed by a city name on the same line to ensure proper validation.

General Address Structure

  • Rule 1: Must have between 3 and 5 lines
  • Rule 2: The last or penultimate line must contain a valid postal code followed by a city name

Requirements for the Postal Code Line

The line that contains the postal code must adhere to this format: 
[Postal Code] [City Name]
The postal code must be followed by at least one space and then the city name.

Important Notes

​
General Requirements

  1. Should a comma exist in the address line, e.g. “Max Mustermann, Marina Mustermann” or “Max Mustermann, ABC-St. 1,” a comma is replaced with a new line - so please use a comma accordingly
  2. Empty lines will be deleted

Postal Code-Specific Requirements

  1. Spaces: There must be at least one space before the city name after the postal code
  2. City Name Required: After the postal code, a city name (or any text without spaces) must follow
  3. Capitalization: For formats with letters (UK, Netherlands, Ireland), capital letters are expected
  4. Complete Lines: The entire post code and the city must be on the same line
